All I ever

I dim the lights to black
You'd say I sleep.
If only sanity
A slumber could keep.
Rather I punish my soul
To stand on my knees.
Rather I lose till I am lost,
And set free my delusions to see -
Her thrill of laughter.
Her images moving.
She's in front of me.
