Never ending

Life strips naked
to pain,pleasure,cry.
Tonight I’ll drink till I’m high
Smoke in smokes,
Till I’ll fly.

Tongue slipped chatters
my lips carry on.
The grass is greener;
Comfortably numb;
The music goes on and on.

Headbanging and screams
on a metal sound.
Love, hate, bottles broken-
Rip my heart out.
Throw it to ground.

Then when alone,
and the night too die.
Stare faces on my screen.
In my delusion, projecting live.
Never-ending lullabies.

Sometimes I need an escape,
I need to fly.
Although I hate myself,
When I am high.
